Pink Frequency

An immersive exploration of colour, depth, and restraint, this one-of-one artwork is constructed through ten layered applications of pigmented resin, each level building a surface that is both luminous and atmospheric.

Suspended forms move beneath a high-gloss plane, dissolving into one another to create a continuous, fluid field of colour. Rather than sitting on the surface, each tone exists within the work—embedded across layers, shifting subtly as light and perspective change.

The dominant chromatic intensity is balanced by softness in transition, producing a quiet tension between saturation and stillness. What appears immediate reveals complexity over time—depth, variation, and the memory of each individual layer.

The reflective resin finish draws the surrounding space into the composition, allowing the work to evolve throughout the day. It does not remain fixed; it responds.
